Pastor Charles E. Hart was born to the late Deacon James D. and Deaconess Esther Hart. He is a native of Albany, La, where he received his secondary education in Albany, La. He later received a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Social Work from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, La, and a Master's Degree in Religious Studies from Christian Bible College in Baton Rouge, La.
Pastor Hart is committed to preaching and teaching the word of God with power and passion, he delivers the Word of God with an eagerness to see Christians walk in the blessings of the Lord. He preaches that every generation represented in the Body of Christ can comprehend and appreciate the Word of God. He is described as "a person with a profound understanding of God's Word. In the pulpit and out of the pulpit, he enthusiastically shares the Word. His preaching indeed causes one to think and motivates change."
Pastor Hart is a charismatic leader and visionary who serves as Senior Pastor of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church for 29 years in Albany, Louisiana.
He has celebrated 36 years of marriage to Desha Jackson Hart and parents to Chartisha Hart and Christopher Hart and the proudest grandfather to Elise Ezeff. He credits his parents as the source of his perseverance and sense of self-reliance.
His ministerial goals are to be the best pastor and be a dedicated, humble servant of God and to his people in any function possible.
